Lemon Balm

People have traditionally used lemon balm to reduce anxiety and improve cognitive function, but it may also benefit the heart and other body systems. It may help with insomnia and getting a restful sleep.

Lemon balm is thought to have originated from Southern Europe, in particular the eastern Mediterranean region, and the Middle East. Ancient civilizations such as the Greeks and Romans rubbed their bee hives with lemon balm to stop bees from swarming and to attract new colonies.
